Les Pierrys Chalet is the latest addition of luxury chalet accommodation from TG Ski in Morzine.
Forming part of its exclusive Summit collection, Les Pierrys is located in the beautiful French Alpine town of Morzine, providing a contemporary, unique and luxurious chalet for guests, with its first bookings available from the middle of December 2015.
The newly renovated and refurbished property which features breath-taking views of the Morzine valley, overlooking the main slopes into the town, and is set against the south facing forest of the Zorre. Les Pierrys has a modern yet authentic twist on a traditional chalet, perfect to relax and unwind in after a day of hitting the slopes.
With seven double bedrooms and six bathrooms, more than £x has recently been spent on the chalet, undergoing major renovation and design works. As a collaborative project between the chalet owner and TG Ski, the team has a simple and clear goal: to keep the character of the building but incorporate a contemporary edge, a luxury interior, complementing the stunning outside space and picture perfect views. All of this adds to the unique experience for the customer.
The chalet owners are a local, well-known Morzinois family, with roots in the oldest industry in the area; owning the local slate mine. The chalet design incorporates the slate influence throughout, supported by brushed wood interiors, alongside the traditional timber and stone that has been retained to create an indulgent and authentic chalet.
The space has been finished with an exquisite attention to detail. A lift has been installed to transport guests from the boot room to the heart of the living area and bedrooms, where you can expect large pile rugs, deep cushioned sofas and a cosy fire – the essential accompaniment for the perfect après-ski.
Guests can enjoy the stunning mountain views from the floor to ceiling glass windows in the lounge and kitchen areas. With beautiful pieces of art, re-claimed slate wall mountings and distinctive light features all adding to its overall appeal.
For those looking for the ultimate in relaxation, guests can take the plunge in the outdoor hot-tub, which overlooks the town below and provides some of the best views of the valley. The private residence sleeps up to 14 guests, across its seven double bedrooms. Each bedroom acts as its own personal retreat for guests, with each room finished with its own individual personality and decoration.
Tom Marley-Shaw, managing director of TG Ski, comments: “Les Pierrys is the latest chalet to be added to our exclusive ‘Summit’ collection, providing guests with a premium accommodation experience and service. We worked closely with the owner to create a first class ski retreat that is not only the perfect home away from home, but also reflects the heritage of the building and the owner’s family ties to the town. The result is a breath-taking space that really is completely different from any other chalet in the region.”

Guests will receive a true, fine-dining restaurant experience, but all in the comfort of their private chalet.
“It’s integral that every single chalet which forms part of the TG Ski portfolio provides guests with the highest standard of service. Located 50 miles from Geneva airport, Morzine has become renowned by ski enthusiasts for some of the most accessible and stunning slopes in the region. Together with Avoriaz, these two towns make the Portes du Soleil area, which spans across both France and Switzerland.
Tipped as the most up-and coming, Morzine is still very much a traditional Alpine town. Full of original character and charm, the town and surrounding areas offers every single level of skier an unforgettable and exceptional experience, both on and off the slopes.
Tom concludes: “Over the last 12 years, Morzine has developed into a first class holiday destination with huge investment in the local infrastructure and updated fast lift system. There has also been a shift in the demand for high end, premium property, which has previously only been seen in the super resorts.
“At TG Ski we enjoy working closely with each property owner and developer to deliver a chalet that exceeds our guests expectations and keeps clients coming back to stay with TG Ski in Morzine time and time again.”
